API-610 OH3 Vertical Pump

API-610 OH3 VERTICAL PUMP– MODEL PWI-BB OH3

The API-610 OH3 Vertical Pump is a vertical inline, single stage, overhung pump with separate bearing brackets. The bearing housing is integral with the pump to help absorb the loads imposed on the pump, and the motor is generally mounted on a support that is also integral with the pump. Our API-610 OH3 Vertical Pump and motor are coupled with a flexible shaft coupling (no alignment required) and heavy duty bearing bracketed vertical in-line pump designed to cover a wide range of applications found in petroleum processing facilities, gas processing, petrochemical, offshore installations (platforms), hydrocarbon and crude oil terminal and aviation (jet) fueling applications. All pump thrust is absorbed by the pump bearings in lieu of depending on the motor bearings. The rugged, economical and compact PWI-BB in-line design eliminates the need for an expensive base-plate and saves valuable floor space.

Some of the main features of the API-610 OH3 Vertical Pump include:

  • Flexibly coupled
  • In line suction and discharge nozzles
  • Space saving configuration
  • API 682 seal systems are available- a wide variety of seal types, including single and dual type cartridge mechanical seals are available
  • Radial loads reduced with diffuser design
  • High efficiency
  • Known for its high head, low flow capabilities
  • Alignment free construction
  • Single suction, dynamically balanced enclosed impeller- low vibration
  • Heavy duty process design according to API 610 latest edition
  • Back pull-out design for ease of maintenance

API-610 OH3 Vertical Pump

. The OH3 Vertical Process Pump Applications:

  • Petroleum refining, production and distribution
  • Pipeline
  • Petrochemical

Uniquely, this OH3 Vertical Process Pump has a bearing housing (with radial and thrust bearings) that can absorb hydraulic loads (radial hydraulic loads and axial hydraulic loads). The bearing housing also facilitates more options for lubrication, heat dissipation as opposed to the rigidly coupled pumps.
